Cannot attach Python file

OK, this is not layout related, but what's up with the fact that you can not attach a text code file?  I tried to attach a python file and got the error that this extension is not supported.  Ugh.  I use python to parse output files and whatnot and often this aids in actually getting to the root of a problem quickly.
