Clicking Cancel While Editing A Reply Deletes the Message Entirely?

Tonight I made a post and decided that I would like to edit it.  However, after re-reading what I had written, I figured it was enough already so I wanted to cancel the edit operation.  I clicked on the cancel button and then my reply was missing from the thread.

If this is what is supposed to happen then something needs to change.  If I wanted to delete my post, I would be looking for a "Delete" button.

Hi Nathan,

Clicking on the cancel button when editing would normally take you back to your original reply. However, it appears that in your case, your post was marked as spam by the automated spam system. This type of false-positive happens occasionally. More information can be found here: Spam Management in the Community
