It seems we again have the problem that threads remain bold even aftere they have been read.
For example I replied here, went to the forum list and clicked the thread to go back. Every time it showed bold and no new activity, even though repeated and refreshed this several times.

And now after Gerd has replied, it shows bold and two "new" posts, even though I have seen both replies multiple times already.

Have you recently moved any messages?
If so, I wonder if you are seeing this?.
Given a bit of time, the problem fixes itself and the ones you've read will actually become unbold.

Ah, I remember that old discussion.
This was the only thread that remained bold for quite a while (did some other stuff and when I came back they were finally unbolded). Everything else looked fine and showed as read at the correct moment.
Nothing related to this tread was ever moved, but I moved this earlier (link will expire at one point), so who knows ....

Yes. When it happened to me, it wasn't specifically the thread I moved that had the problem. But any other message threads I read after having made that move remained bold even though I read them.
After waiting long enough, the message threads I read would start to be marked as read. But I felt like it was at least a half hour wait.
I think it is a bug in the forums. It doesn't make sense to me why there would be long lags in updating the "has it been read?" flag on messages that only occurs after moving a message.

Let me back track on my message.
I just went into my profile to look for threads I replied into with new, unread messages and saw quite a few. Some were ones I just responded into. Others were ones from a day or so ago. All seem to be LabVIEW forum. Meanwhile this message thread showed up as having been read.
I'm thinking there is a new, different problem going on with the forums now.
Lili?
EDIT: And now, 20 minutes later, all the messages are now marked as read.

Yes, this is related to the issues that were seen in the past that you mentioned before. This is still under investigation and we do not have any updates at this time.
Thanks,
Lili
