If going toward 2 word rank names, maybe: Member, Regular Participant, Trusted Enthusiast, Proven Zealout, Knight of NI

I like the existing ones.........
"accepted solutions, kudos and tags.... posts .... message views" (according to Laura).
The system has only a limited Quality metric (Kudos: which are subjective; and Accepted Solutions: which are often not marked or incorrectly (prematurely) marked). Training, certification level, technical expertise, hours / years using the IDE are not considered.
So, the Quality descriptors like "trusted", "proven", and "veteren" are difficult to define (when Quantity is already utilized for "member", "regular", "enthusiast", "zealot", "knight of ni"). I suppose this is why the names will now be based solely on post count.
This is why I suggested, if going with my two word rank names, combining the two. This would at least prevent trying to discern the difference between a "Proven Active Member" and a "Trusted Zealot".
For reference (so you don't have to back up a page)

You could get a general idea of quality using a ratio of Kudos and solutions to the post count. If someone's Kudo's to post count ratio is high than it stands to reason that they are posting quality posts. This good act a some sort of weighting factor. There are several members who have lower post counts yet are very high in the standings qith respect to Kudos.

You know, we've had 8 pages of discussions, and then Laura is about to turn something on, and now we're still having discussions. Why don't we just turn it on? Beta style.
LOL doing things by committee is not always the most effectively way. Laura my adwise to you is "just do it" Some of the older names/badge dandy's may perhaps be somewhat grumpy but it will pass. And they will not stop posting

My wife and I have a running joke where every hair-brained situation we encounter prompts us to say "A committee must have been involved."

Enthusiast (2000 - 4999 posts) - Should this be Enthusiastic Member instead?
Zealous Member (5000 - 9999 posts) - Should this be Zealot instead?
....
I know this might not make the most sense so please ask questions and give feedback on the rank names.
Laura-
Please receive the "do it now" comments from some, only as they intend it, which is enthusiasm for the new system. Thanks for all your hard work!

Thanks everyone 🙂 Don't worry, I will be making the change soon. I'm still trying to tie up some loose ends with my testing ... sigh.
It is certainly nice to see involvement from so many of you when I ask questions, it reinforces the fact that we have a very vibrant community!
Regards,
Laura
