Hi,
the last days I had problems editing my own messages, especially with embedded images!
I can mark/select the image, but using the "Delete" or "Backspace" key does NOT delete the image!
To delete it I have to switch to HTML view and edit the underlying HTML code, i.e. remove the whole <p><img…></p> line "manually"…
Btw. I'm mostly using the method to
After this procedure I still can edit the message, but not delete the image using the Delete/Backspace keys.
One more comment:
I also cannot add text after the image, when the image is embedded at the end of the message.
I think we already had this problem some time ago - and I thought that problem was actually solved?

Hi Gerd,
Sorry about the delay, it seems as we missed replying to this. I'm trying to reproduce this issue and I'm not having problems deleting images with backspace. Can you let me know if this is still happening for you?

Hi Jenny,
yes, this still happens sometimes when editing a message. It happens with my own inlined images, but also with imoages of other messages when quoting from them. Luckily it does not happen all the time…
(My workaround is to edit the message in the HTML view to get the image removed.)

Hi Jenny,
that bug is still present…
See this message: when I try to edit my own message I can select the image in the editor window, but I cannot delete it using either backspace or delete key. Whenever I try to delete the image using backspace the cursor jumps in front of the image and starts to delete the text before the image!
Finally I need to switch to the HTML view to be able to delete the whole image tag from the HTML code…

Hi there,
We tried to recreate this problem and are still unable to. Would you mind recording your screen and sending the video to me so we can further investigate?
