How can I find what post was just Kudoed by a user?

Solved!
Go to solution

I think something has changed.

I found that I picked-up a Kudo but I can not tell what post got the Kudo.

SO how do I figure it out?

It USED to bethe one at teh top of my kudoed post list on my profile page. That does not seem to be the case anyomore.

Figured it out.

Click on the user and scroll down to the section labled "Post I Kudoed" (should be Posts This User Kudoed) and look for my name there.

I liked the old way better.

There's still a My Kudoed Posts section in your profile that is probably what you want.

No, that shows my most recent post that got a Kudo.

The new Kudo I recieved today was for a post from about 8 years ago.

That does not seem to be the behavior of my My Kudoed Posts section.  Mine are sorted by most recent Kudo activity, not most recently posted.

Tim is correct. The My Kudoed Posts component on your user profile is ordered by the latest kudo, not the latest post.

You could also go to the Notification Feed to see your latest notifications -- such as who gave you a kudo and for what.

The most recent Kudo I received was from Dave_St.

If you follow the directions I outlined above you will see he gave me a Kudo for a post from 2008.

See here

You are welcome to try and guess again. Smiley Tongue

It USED to work the way you describe but "not anymmore!". I prefered it the old way (as you described) becuase it was easy to see what I was being thanked for (dangling particial plese excuse).

I just gave Tim a Kudo for a 2008 post. It does show up at the top but it does not show that I gave him the Kudo.

Quoting the names of one of those bogus pilots ...

"Sum Ting Wong"

Edit

After giving it some time to update....

Tim's looks right but mine still is wrong.

I probably should have kudoed that 8 years ago when I first read it.  Does it show up on your profile right?  I don't see it updated yet
