Usually only mods can do that but you would be better off deleting your old thread and posting it again on the new sub board (:

Muri,
No one can delete a message thread.
Admins and certain high ranking members can move message threads.
I moved that message thread to the LabVIEW board here.

Hi Loppy,
I keep getting replies to threads in French any ideas on how to stop this
Which threads do you get answers from?
Maybe those threads are located in the French board?
(You might manage your thread subscriptions to unsubscribe from those threads…)
and get them in english
To get the answers in English the poster has to write them in English. The NI forum will not do any translation for you…

This one for a start
the notification was in French and some of the search topics while on the GB web site still had the post accept etc buttons in French
I don't post in French or use a French board. Very confusing and frustrating.
Strange thing is that the notification for the reply before this one was in French ( your post is in English ) But your notification was in English.

Hi Loppy/Richard,
you can set your "personification" to different locations on the very top of the NI website.
Did you by any chance change your location? It might affect your notifications too…
(I sometimes do this to get prices/documentations for NI products in different currencies/languages.)

Thanks for the reply Gerd. That is all set ok.
I was talking to our IT people and it looks like it has to do with the fact that we use a proxy server for net access and that server is based in france so the site thinks I am in France.
