Kudo activity

Solved!

Hi,

I am wondering if (or how) it is possible to have messages in the Kudo activity list arranged according to the date posted? Right now one might find a list such as

19291iE00D00CCB607A831

Thanks!

PS: A different topic: In the editor, after inserting the image and centering it I was unable to switch back to left aligned text...

Hi Wolfgang -

Where is that screenshot taken from?  Is it the search page, a user profile page...?  If you could provide me a link, that would be great!

Also - what browser are you using so that I can try out the image insertion problem?

Thanks,

Laura

Hi Laura,

1) it's still behaving like this, so it seems to be reproducible Smiley Happy

2) you can get this kind of figure by visiting some other user's Kudo activity page, entitled

Kudos Activity for ...

Kudos given to Posts; this list seems to be randomly sorted

3) browser is IE8 on Win XP

Hope this helps, thanks for taking care,

Wolfgang

I'm pretty sure it sorts by the time of the kudo'ing.  Not the time of the actual post.

Oh, this sounds like a very reasonable explanation! Thanks.

Hi Wolfgang -

I agree with Tim about how the messages are sorted.

I've tried to replicate the image insertion problem you mentioned in IE8 but haven't succeeded.  This is what I tried:

1. Insert an image from my gallery

2. select it and click the "Align center" button on the editor

3. Hit enter and start a new line and type some text

4. With my cursor on the same line, click the "Align left" button on the editor

5. Post my message

The text after the image is aligned to the left, as I'd expect.  What do you do differently from the steps that I've tried?

Thanks,

Laura

Hi Laura,

I did the same with a different result: after inserting the image everything is centered, whatever alignment I choose for the text line.

Other buttons such as italics still work.

As you can see, this affects both text before and after the image (all the text has been typed after image insertion)

IE8 on Windows, no compatibility mode
