Glad you were able to duplicate, but I guess I will have to live with it as our IT won't install other browsers. Oh well.

Hi Putnam,
Are you still encountering this issue? We received an update that this issue should now be resolved. I am unable to reproduce it now. Here are the steps I followed:
1. Using IE 11, go to ni.com and I'm already logged in
2. From the navigation, click on Community
3. From that page, click on Visit the discussion forums and then login to the community
4. Click on the notification indicator to go to the Notification Feed
5. Click on any of the topics, usually an older topic with multiple pages
6. From the topic, click to go back a page -- I am still logged in
