Problem with attachments.

I had also submitted a feedback report to the web masters. No response. This is now, what, the fourth day? Apparently people are on a long weekend retreat.

It used to work and now it does not.

Sounds like someone tweaked something and did not test it or follow-up to see if there were issues.

I managed to restore my teddy bear avatar by pointing at a copy of it in one of my image albumns.

My signature is intact and it also is in my albumns.

The images for the AE Nugget were attached as included files in those threads.

It looks like someone goofed with the URLs and did not realize a lot of our images were attached to posts.

Just my guess.

Another case of modifying software with fully understanding the use cases!

it really seemed as if stuff was disapearing through the day on Friday (?). Was there a batch job applying some change to support "something exciting"?

As noted bt RF's original post, this problem actually started on Thursday.

The lack of communication on this issue is ... disheartening.

I apologize for the wait. I heard back from Lithium this morning. It seems this is affecting old attachments as well as new attachments. I've given specific instances of when the 404 error is seen and will update you as I hear back regarding a fix. This was set as a major issue.

I just received word from Lithium that the issue was fixed. I have verified attachments are now working correctly. If you find any attachments that are still directing to the 404 Error page, please report them here.
