I use the Brief addon for Firebox to browse the new forum posts for Labview. Up until recently, the RSS feed showed the author of the forum post. I'm not sure when it stopped showing the author (if it coincided with an update) but Firefox had a significant update a few weeks ago, as well as Brief. This doesn't seem like something related to a browser update, but more to do with the contents of the RSS feed, which is why I am posting here. It used to say "Posted by: aputman 4 hours ago", or something similar. Maybe it only said the author's name. I can't remember exactly.
This isn't a huge issue for me...just that I noticed it changed and I know that sometimes changes aren't always intended. I do like to know that tidbit of information before jumping into the post but it doesn't prevent me from opening a post.

Hi aputnam,
I believe this may be an issue specific tot he RSS feed add-on that you are using. The direct RSS feed still lists the author and this can still be seen when using other add-ons. In this example, I was using Feedbro.
You may want to report the issue to the Brief devs, or else consider trying a different add-on.

Thanks for the suggestion, Lili. Looks like I will be switching RSS addons.
I know I said that this tidbit isn't super critical for me, and its not but Feedbro looks quite nice and has a similar feel to what I am used to.
