changed forum website behaviour

Hi,

in the last days I noticed a slightly changed behaviour of the forum website: whenever I post/edit a message at the end of the thread the webpage jumps to the bottom after posting so I see the green footer instead of the posted/edited message. I have to scroll up to proof-read it…

Sometimes this also happens when opening a thread by going to the newest message(s)…

Quite annoying!

Is anybody else also encountering this behaviour?

Hi @GerdW 

To my knowledge, no changes have been made to the website that would have changed that behavior. Can you tell me the system and browser you are using? I'll do some tests.

Hi Mark,

from time to time (not always) I see the green footer of the website instead of the expected forum message: it seems the webpage scrolls too far below…

I'm using the most recent Firefox on Win11Pro or Win10Pro, when I notice this behaviour.

Edit: the attached image shows what I saw after clicking the "Post" button and the following reload of the webpage - mostly green footer and just the last line of my own message:
