NI-CAN USB8473 & Flexlogger

I am trying to use the NI-CAN USB 8473 with flexlogger but flexlogger just won't show that device.
I know NI has removed support for NI-CAN USB 8473 but i can still read it NI-MAX. Is there something that I am missing or Flexlogger just doesn't have that support? 
Also does the version of Flexlogger matter? I have the lite (free) version.

FlexLogger only supports devices that use the XNET driver. The USB 8473 only supports the NI-CAN driver and not the XNET driver and therefore is not supported by FlexLogger.

Also worth noting that XNET devices are only supported in the licensed version of FlexLogger and not FlexLogger Lite.
