Need: Access FlexLogger channel configuration data via the LabView Plug-In SDK or the Python API. LabView SDK is preferable.
General issue: We've had multiple use cases where FlexLogger is "so close" to being extensible enough to meet the need, but we ultimately don't use it because we can't access the channel configuration data.
Specific example: We have a test cell with 72 bridge inputs via PXI-4339 cards. This cell has an external controller (custom NI FPGA instrument) to provide DUT loading profiles. We could use FlexLogger as an efficient and flexible foundation for test data acquisition, but only if we can programmatically pass each channel's electrical signal range, sensitivity, hardware range, and all configured alarm parameters to the external controller. This is so the controller would have awareness of each channel's range limits.
