How to using CHART to display the signal captured by NI SCOPE READ

Dear my friends;

I use Ni 5102 and Labview 7.1 to capture the signal. I want to use the chart to capture the change of signal with absolute time. but When I connect the waveform node in NI SCOPE READ to chart. it shows that the data type is not compatible. And I also want to save the amplitude of signal with absolute time to spreadsheet.

if you know something, can you be kind to give me some indications. any suggestion is appreciated.

Hello,

The NI-Scope read.vi is a polymorphic VI, and you can select the output to either be a cluster or a Waveform Data Type. Make sure that you are selecting a waveform data type because a cluster cannot be fed into a waveform chart.

As far as writing to a file, you can use the Write to Measurement File.vi located under Programming > File I/O. You can write to a .lvm file format, which you can open using a text editor or Excel.
