Hello jebeyers,
How does your device show up in the Windows Device Manager? Does it show up with a yellow exclamation point? Did you receive any errors from Windows or National Instruments?
Here is a KnowledgeBase that describes why your computers BIOS might not be updated. Do you have another computer that you can try the PCI-5102 in?

I have installed this card in another PC and the test panel worked correctly.
Per the knowledge base article, I update the computers BIOs and installed the linked patch. Netiher fixed the problem.
The device shows up in Windows Device Manger, under Data Aquisition Devices and windows states the device is working properly. The driver is listed as 2.1.0F1, but when I look in MAX the driver listed under installed software is 3.4.0F3. Should these numbers match?

Hello jebeyers,
What computer did the 5102 work on? Can you give more specifics about the HP DX2200? What motherboard is being used by that computer? What are the exact specifications of the computer?
Can you try uninstall the driver for the 5102 in Device Manager, then restart your computer? (Right-click on the device and select uninstall)

I dont know if this is the correct thread, but here is a sub issue of installing a 5102 board. I recently upgraded my software to the latest NI-Scope and driver versions. The Soft Front Panel works as expected. However when I attempt to access the board via C++, the simplist of tasks (autosetup) doesnt find the active signal on either channel. Any suggestions?

Hello Jebeyers,
Some motherboards require weird restrictions for PCI boards. The problem is not in the chipset or in the speed of the processer. Unfortunately, it sounds like there might be an incompatibility between our 5102 and your motherboard. Usually updating the BIOS will fix this problem. However, it seems that updating the BIOS will not fix this problem.
Is there any reason why the computer cannot be utilized for your application?
