Anyone successfully did an EtherCAT Master under Linux and used a library under LabVIEW to communicate with SDOs and PDOs?
I would basically try to do so without using the "NI-Industral Communications for EtherCAT". This module work well but we are sticked using NI hardware like cRIO or PXI. I wish we could create a Linux RT realtime desktop like we did with PharLap ETS. (not supported now)
I tried the IgH EtherCAT Master for Linux... I installed it but tried the library with "call library node" but I'm not too familiar with struct and pointers. bash command worked though but limited.
Let me know if you found a way communicate with EtherCAT slaves under Linux and LabVIEW !
Thank you.
