Do you have LVRT installed on your host?

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Is this what you meant by lvrt?
Thank you 🙂

LabVIEW Real-Time not LabVIEW RunTime Engine

Can't tell from your screen shot. You will need to expand the LV section. It should look something like this.

Hello,
Yes i do have labview real time.
Steps i have taken:
1. Install Labview 2013 (completely with all modules)
2. Install NI RIO driver
Any clue where i might have gone wrong?
Thank you very much

Hi keshavsew,
What version of the NI-RIO driver did you install? If you have the RIO driver correctly installed on your host PC, you should be able to install Real-Time software to your sbRIO target, as described here. This process should be the same as installing software to a regular cRIO.
Thanks,
Andrew

The error you are getting typically only happens if you have something installed on your target that isn't available from your host. If you feel that you have everything that you need already on your host the safest thing to do is probably to format the target from MAX and then proceed to install what you need.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your reply.
Indeed, the problem was solved by formatting the device

I have the same trouble.
I tried to restart the ni single board rio 9632 in the safe mode :
to reformat the device, but the sensor motor keeps rotating the sensor, and I have to turn off the MASTER to stop it. In addition to that, the POWER flashes several time (following the rotation rithm of the sensor motor)
Do you have an idea about the problem ?
I have Labview CDs, I can't understand why do I need to install NI RIO, I thought it is included with the software ! anyway I downloaded the NI RIO driver from the website, but it is very slow, is this normal ?
thanks in advance.
