First time trying to use the classic Calibration Executive for Traditional DAQ. Set it up on a Windows 7 Professional 32-bit box, with a NI PCI-MIO-16XE-10 PCI card DAQ. Installed the classic NIDAQ software for the card and the card is working according to NI-MAX: Self-Test and Self-Calibration pass.
The SCXI-1124 is connected in a SCXI-1000 chassis to the PCI card is is configured and recognized in NI-MAX.
However, in the calibration procedure, I get to the the "Required Standard" step, and I get an "Unsupported Instrument": NI requires a 6030E/6031E/6032E/6033E, and there is "None" in the Address below. I thought the PCI-MIO-16XE-10 is a "6030E".
I even acquired a 6033E PCI card from eBay and installed that in the computer. Neither one shows up on that step.
Am I supposed to do anything special in NI-MAX to get the cards to work in Calibration Executive? The manuals don't go into any details.
