I cannot find "scan for instrument​" at MAX

Hi~

I connected GPIB-USB-HS cable between the laptop and Keithley 2602 device.

In MAX, I could find GPIB-USB-HS "USB0::0x3923::0x709B::016F05B4::RAW" under "device&interface"

However, I cannot find "scan for instrument" anywhere!

So, I coudn't connect equipment with laptop......

What is the problem??

(I use Window 7, and I installed NI driver.)

did you install VISA?

and the usb gpib should be listed as gpib device under devices not as raw

Thank you for answer!!

I installed VISA 5.1.2.

But, I think it's not working well, cause VISA program(ex.driver wizard) is shut down easily showing error.

Also, I can see "VISA warning"(viOpenDefaultRM returned 0x3FFF0077~~~) under devices & interfaces tab in MAX.

I don't know How to fix this situation. . . . T^T

uninstall and reinstall VISA is your best option
