IVI compliance package, Max does not show any installed driver

Hi there,

I recently updated my compliance package to 15, now NI MAX does not show any LocialName, DriverSessions and so on. I'm even not allowed to create a new session. This feature is disabled (see attaced picture)

I tried to downgrade back to compliance package 14. Since this failed, I even reinstalled all NI software along with the IVI shared components.

Deserializing the ConfigStore in C# will also fail. It says the Configstore is not registred. So am I missing  something here? Do I have to install another package to get back the configstore?

kind regards

Hi,

did you try to reset MAX database? I think a corruption could be the issue.

Yes I already did.

No effect.

I also tried the COMServerTest.exe from IVI Configuration Server Error

It says the class is not registered. I'm able to finde those files in the GAC but not in the registry. Is there any sw package in which contains this functionality? Just to reinstall it properly?

Hi,

There is the IVI Compliance Package itself that contains all the components.

Another thing, I could imagine is, that you did not install it somehow.

Below you can find the link to download the newest version:

Ok problem solved..

I had to reinstall the windows installer due to error 1603 during uninstalling. Afterthat I was aber to clear my HDD from any IVI relevant software.

Installing everything with the  NI Devicedrivers DVDs brought everything back to its desired state.

Thanks for your help
