Hello,
I am having a difficulty to use LabView driver to control Hardvard 11 Pico Plus Elite pump. When I used the driver to run the pump, the LED of the pump was only flashing and the pump didn't do anything. The error message showed that Error-1073999876 occurred at Read Range.vi and Possible Reason(s): Cannot find units.
The version of the pump firmware is v1.0.6. The pump is connected with the computer by USB cable provided with the pump.
It will be greatly appreciated if anyone could help to provide some ideas to solve the problem.
Best regards
Jim

NI MAX ---> Tools ---> NI-VISA ---> VISA Interactive Control
to manually control the pump
The LabVIEW driver is not necessary to control the pump.
Make sure you understand how the pump works.
Read the manual.

Here is the manual. This manual contains the commands and queries that you may request as well as the formatting for such. You need to know the current mode of the instrument in order to determine the response you will receive.

Thank you for your input. But the LabView driver I am talking about is the one from this link: http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.model_page?p_model_id=2640
This is a so called Plug and Play driver coded to control the pump.

I have already seen the manual. The LabView driver that I am trying to apply is different from the control software shown in the manual.

Much more convenient than command lines.
I just found the same problem posted a couple of years ago, and the issue is simply due to the naming of the LabView driver. I cite here for any one who encounters the same problem in the future: "Pump 11" Pico Plus Elite pump doesn't use the normal "Pump 11 series" driver but uses driver for PhD ultra pump series...
