Hi,
It sounds like you might have two separate problems here. We'll take care of the "scan for instruments" failing second. First, what GPIB cards are you using? If you installed a PCI-GPIB card (for example), you would get the "Supported GPIB+ interface not found. Supported GPIB+....." error if you ran the GPIB Analyzer because only GPIB+ cards support the GPIB Analyzer. Swapping in a PCI-GPIB+ card would remove this problem.
If you put the original (broken?) card in another slot or another computer, is it able to scan for instruments?
When you swapped the cards, did you keep everything else constant? Did you test it with the same cables and the same instruments?
If you're using the same cables, same instruments, same computer (and same type of card) in both tests and you're able to scan for instruments on one card and not the other, you may need to RMA this card. You would create a phone support request here. I hope this helps!
Regards,
