Hello - I am trying to use NI Robotics to enable the students to develop inverse kinematics algorithms for the robot arm. I am also trying to use this as education tool for rookie team members.
All the examples that I looked at are more complex arms. Do you have a more basic robot arm examples? I've tried a few things by extracting from youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gA5Pw4GDwIo&t=407s), and the examples but I could not get the 3d picture to look right. Since I cannot really verify graphically, I am not sure where else to go.

I don't have experience with that module, but can recommend using the shipping examples of the toolkit:
Examples VIs demonstrate robotics concepts, such as path planning, kinematics, and acquiring data from sensors. You can modify an example VI to fit an application, or you can copy and paste from one or more example VIs into a VI that you create. Use the NI Example Finder, available by selecting Help»Find Examples from LabVIEW, to browse or search for example VIs. - LabVIEW Robotics Module Help

Thanks Oscar.
I've looked at the examples. It is way too complex for myself and the students to use. We don't even know where/how to modify. The last time I used LabView was in 2010. At that time you can find a lot of basic examples along with guides on how to use toolkits. I have a hard time finding those types of guides now. I understand that things are moving very fast and complex. I could have missed a lot of things along the way.
Thanks,
Nazry
