I can't get mega 2560 to initialize

hello

Does somebody know why i can't get the arduino mega 2560 initialized with the "arduino init VI."

i have this configuration:

baudrate: 9600

Connection: USB/Serial

Bytes per packet: 15

it loops until an error pops up but never connected, i might have the bytes per packet wrong but dont know what is the correct number

any help apreciated.

You should try LINX because LIFA is old and no longer supported.  See here.
