2D normal distribution fit
Below is the data and fitting performed in Origin lab
The fitted Normal distribution are plotted as Contour lines . where as data is plotted as Intensity plot.Here the correletaion is 1.22 if you see the fit is not symmetric guassian. i have found many of your programs which form the 2d FITTING, but the fit i want is not given anywhere. i am able to do it in python and origin but not in labview. if i can fit a normal 2d guassian from the fit i can calculate the Correlation. not necessarily using the equation i have given above. Somehow i am not able to do that. if u can perform a fit like shown above rest i can handle.

Have you looked at my "not symmetric gaussian fit"?
I am sure you can calculate correlation using the mayor and minor axis.
