34970a totalizer not reading correctly

I am having trouble reading the 34970a multi function card totalizer.  I am trying to use the example that came with the driver, but I am having no luck.  I can read/write all of the other functions on the card.  I can also read the totalizer using stand alone mode and with the agilent benchlink software.  I am using labview 8.6.

I have no idea what is going on and there seems to be no settings availble for the totalizer.

Define exactly what you mean by 'trouble'. Is an error returned, wrong reading, instrument catches on fire?

There is a function to configure the totalizer. It's called Conf Totalizer.

No errors, I read 0 for the count.

Did you configure it before doing a read?
