-50405 Error at DAQmx Read AI Sample

Anyone seen this error before?  The Possible Reasons are:

No transfer is in progress because the transfer was aborted by the client. The operation could not be completed as specified.

I am using the DAQmx Analog 2d DBL NChan Nsamp function and getting this error thrown.  Please let me know if you have any thoughts.

Cheers!

As a follow up for anyone who has a similar problem.  As best as I can tell this error had to do with my laptop running out of Virtual Memory, Windows would pop up and tell me my VM was low and the next time I ran the program I would get the previously listed error.  I managed to fix it by rebooting, which is what points me towards the VM being the issue.  I am still open to suggestions if anyone has them.

Cheers!

Hey jmcbee,

What device are you using? I am assuming it is a USB device. Does this problem occur consistently or only the one time? I would suggest doing exactly as your did, rebooting the computer. You can also reset the device by opening Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX), expanding Devices and Interfaces to locate your device, right-clicking the device in the list, and select Reset Device. If this problem occurs consistently there may be some other things we can try.

Thank you for the reply.  I am using a USB- 6211 device.  It was happening consistently, only being fixed by a reboot.  I upgraded the RAM from 512MB to 2GB and have not seen the error since.  I am planning on doing more testing this afternoon and I am hoping that I will not see the problem again.  I will post to this topic if I do see it, and hopefully with more info.

Cheers

Hi everyone!!

I've had the same problem using he NI USB-6008 in some programs I made, but I haven' been able to solve the problem so far, I am acquiring an analog signal coming from a pressure transducer, the error comes at times, some times the program works without problems but sometimes it doesn't.

Did upgrading the RAM of the PC help solving the issue?

I'd gladly take some help, I've been looking for an answer but I couldn't find it
