8510C doesn't send data to PC via LabVIEW: why?

Can you please tell me how to do that? I mean how to make the tulip support selected in MAX. My experience in labview is very primittive and this is the first time I'm using it.

Thanks,

Start MAX. Expand software. Select NI-VISA. Click the VISA Options tab at the bottom of the right hand window. Select passports. Click the NiVISATulip.dll box.

hello man,

I strongly suggest getting an NI board.  While I was learning LV I used a 3rd party card to operate GPIB controls and cutting my teeth on that was about the most unpleasant thing ever.  Simple programs took weeks to get working, simply because I couldn't use NI's built-in functions.

Get your boss to buy an NI card - it will save him a great deal of money, and you a great deal of heartache.

(I'm not an NI employee)
