9012 Pauses when TCP/IP Connection is made

I've been using the 9012 since last week and I've noticed that it pauses for seconds when I connect to it via a TCP port.  On the controller there is a state machine that listens for a command port and data port connection.  When my GUI connects, I have a "Waiting for RT engine (XXX) to Respond" message that goes away in a few seconds.  When I connect without the project open, I don't get that message, since the development software is not connected, but I do get a pause in reponse to queries from the GUI.

Has anyone else seen this?

Hi Chris,

You might be seeing expeted behavior. It normally takes some time to establish the initial connection and then everything works fine.

Could you please post a stripped down version of your program that replicates the problem? You can also try running the TCP/IP Client Server example programs in LabVIEW to see if the same problem happens.

You may also want to try reformating your cRIO and reinstalling all drivers.
