I need to program a Acqiris digitizer in LabVIEW. I got their latest driver, and it requires that some Keysight libraries be installed first. So I started installing those, and they indicate that they require that Keysight VISA be installed. It said I already had VISA installed (NI, of course) and so Keysight VISA would be installed as secondary. I've had weird issues in the past when multiple VISAs are installed, so I'm hesitant to pollute my main development machine with this. I could rev up a VM, but there are complications there that I won't detail here.
The big question is: Does anyone have experience with Acqiris Drivers with Keysight VISA installed as secondary? Is this safe to do?
Thanks,
Dave

A more general question that more people can potentially answer would be:
Have you installed Keysite VISA secondary to NI VISA without any problems (regardless of what instruments you were trying to talk to)?

No experience with that exact instrument, but we have been using HP/Agilent/Keysite instruments and some of their software along side LabVIEW since they were owned by HP.
I have installed Agilent VISA as secondary VISA and not had any issues with LabVIEW or Agilent/Keysite proprietary software that require VISA.

Excellent. Thanks for the info!
