Wow, Ben, how do you find these obscure "Feature Reports"?  I'm glad to see that yet another "LabVIEW Failing" is not NI's fault, but is a flaw buried within Microsoft Office ...

Pure luck in this case.

Have a look at this link.

Based on the linked document you can replace Word Documents Properties.vi by the modified version attached.

Could you make that a Labview 2014 file?  I haven't installed 2015 yet because the installer won't recognize my license for the Report Generation Toolkit.  A screenshot might be enough too.

I wish I could give this more than 1 Kudos.  If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the Word_Get_Properties.vi?  The Help viewer doesn't want to say, and also claims that the vi "Gets the number of worksheets in the active workbook".  It's named like an NI library file, but I couldn't find it.

Word_Get_Properties is in the Report Generation Toolkit libraries within VI.lib.  To find it, look in vi.lib\addons\_office\_wordsub.llb.  Before LabVIEW 2014, the RGT was an "addon" Toolkit, which (I suspect) is why the Libraries are in the "Addons" folder.  Note that I'm not at all sure why Ben reported out the Table and Shape count ...  Also, I now see that I was "barking up the wrong tree", and totally didn't understand your question.

Bob I think you're getting confused with this thread.

I copied the diagram of Word Document Properties.vi and just changed the macro. That's where Word_Get_Properties.vi came from. But as Bob said you can find it at the location he specified.
