Are you trying to communicate with the controller through serial port???

Hello,
yes by the RJ45 port.
I need an RJ45 DB09 converter ?

Your AMS device using "ordinary" RS-232 communications, typically done through a DB9 connector (with 9 pins), but they are using RJ45 connectors (with 8 pins). Assuming your PC has a Serial Out port that uses a DB9, or you have purchased a USB-to-RS232 converter so you can utilizes one of your USB ports as though it were a Serial Device, all you have to do is create the cable that wires the 8 pins from an RJ45 plug to the corresponding 9 pins of a DB9 plug. It wouldn't surprise me if AMS, in fact, provides this cable along with their hardware -- their Manual seems to suggest this.
