Agilent 53150A driver

Hello everyone.  I have a question on the Agilent 53150A Frequency Counter.  I have been unable to find drivers for it so that I can use it in labVIEW.  I have found drivers for the 5313xa and the 53181a.  I am sure that they can be modified to work with the 53150A, but I am a new user in labVIEW.  What I have is labView 8.2 with a usb to GPIB converter.  I hae downloaded the 53131ReadFrequency.vi and I am looking at the code to see how I can modify it to fit the 53150A, but I do not know where to start.  Thanks for the help in advance.

Hey,
You can actually see the code of the example vi by double clicking on it and can change the setting if you want it. As there is no driver available for this instrument, you can use basic VISA function in order to talk to it and perform your task. This document will show what commands it will respond to or can use VISA Driver Development Wizard to write your own driver.

Thanks for the advice it really helped.  I ended up making everything from scratch and it works like a charm now.  All I have left to to is add some nice to haves.   Thanks again.
