Analog Output Control Question

Hi anyone can help me? I am a labview beginner.

The system is driven by a sine wave signal from labview. My questions are as follows:

1. continuously compare pre-saved (dynamic) reference with current system signal;

2. Once they equal to each other, the system will give a half sine wave with another frequency, then change back to normal sine wave.

3. Every time, it happens, a half sine wave will be generated.

Anyone can give me any ideas on how to implement this? Many thanks.

Can you give a bit more detail as to what you are needing. For example what aspect of the signal are you going to be comparing? Amplitude/frequency/phase ect....
