Annoying numerical control properties

Place a numerical control or indicator on the FP

Right click to properties

Change the data type from DBL to a binary I or U type

Go to the Display Format tap 

The Display properties aren't updated , you have to close the properties window and reopen it again to propagate the change to the Display options

Bug?? Well at least annoying...

Same issue in 2009SP1.  I would call it a bug that should be fixed.

Hi all,

you're right, this behaviour is indeed a bug and seems to be introduced with LabVIEW 8.5/8.6.

The issue has already been reported to our R&D staff and a Corrective Action Request (ID #188530) has been filed.

 I went through the known issues of 2009 and 8.6 before posting and didn't found. However the pages claim that they only contain the major issues...
