I have labview 2009 and labwindows 2009 development suite (full version).I want drivers for newport motion controller(MM3000,,4-axis) and Lakeshore 460 (3-channel) Gauss Meter.I could get drivers which are labview compatible.I want to convert them to be able to use in labwindows.I have installed labview drivers export wizard .When i try to open ,It asks me for application builder activation .I checked in my licence manager and i donn see any application builder in toolkits but find one in Modules(which is already activated).
when I checked for it in the blogs ,I found that it has to be purchased seperately.
1.Do i need to purchase application builder seperately in order to use the export wizard? If I make a purchase of application builder and activate it ,will the converted driver work with the labwindows 2009.If not please suggest a solution for these drivers for labwindows 2009.
Please reply ASAP
thanks!

If you have the pro version of LabVIEW, then that includes the app builder and if it shows up under modules as activated, that should be all that you need. If you have seen a blog that says it always has to be purchased separately, provide the link so that the author can be corrected.
I believe that the converter will create a LabVIEW dll that you can call in CVI.

I already have NI developers suite 2010(full) .By NI Iabview Pro ,do you mean Professional version, I would need professional just to convert the instrument drivers.
Do i have any kind of upgrade to my developers suite, so as to make the export wizard work or can i have NI 's help to convert them for me .Will such converted files work with my labwindows?

in the link above i find the following note
Note:
The LabVIEW Instrument Driver Export Wizard is not supported or compatible with LabVIEW 8.5 or later.
If you only have LabVIEW 8.5 or later and would like to convert your driver, please contact the Instrument Driver Group.
thanks

Yes, you need the professional version or purchase the app builder. However, you said the app builder is activated.
Did not know about this limitation. That could be why you are getting the error message. You could probably create the dll manually.
