Hello Dan,
Do you have any additional details regarding the extent of the slow-down and lock-ups? Are you getting errors in the program, or is it something to the effect of your Task Manager showing that Calibration Executive is not responding? When it locks-up, does the procedure pause, keep running like normal, or fail to complete?
Also, are you using the software on numerous different devices with the same problem showing up? Is this only on a single computer that you have seen this issue? Do you have information regarding the system that you are experiencing problems on?
There are often newer versions and patches being released, so depending on your version, there may be an upgrade available. For example, if you are using Calibration Executive 3.3.0, you can download and install version 3.3.2 as a free upgrade, which contains some additional device support, updates, and a few fixes.
Please let me know if you have any additional details regarding these topics. Thanks, and have a great day!

So, Cal Exec is built on the TestStand framework, so we need to figure out if TestStand is the issue or Cal Exec is the issue.
What version of Cal Exec are you running?
What machine are you running this on?
Are there any other programs you know of that are running noticeably slow (teststand, labview)?

I would recommend what Dan did first and we try an upgrade to cal exec 3.3.2
http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1362/lang/en
Have you seen this same behaviour on other machines, or is this an isolated incident?
Has this been occuring since install or did something change to make this occur?

I did the upgrade and now I recieve this message:
Error -18002 occurred at LabVIEW: The VI is not executable. Most likely the VI is broken or one of its subVIs cannot be located. Open the VI in LabVIEW using File>>Open and verify that it is runnable.
This was for a PXI-6115
Thanks
Dan

This error is caused by running cal exec without installing drivers as documented in the following knowledgebase article found on ni.com
