Camera Fusion .. is it possible on Labview ?

I am trying to take the simultaneous feed of two fire wire cameras and fuse them together. For example i want to cut half the frame of one camera and half the frame of the other camera and then fuse them together in such a way that if both the cameras are lying side by side focusing on the same view, the viewer wont know whether this video is from two cameras or one.

Is it possible on labView ?

I have acquired the footage of both cameras and these footages are running in parallel with each other.

either my english is too weak to make you understand or your acumen to understand what i am saying is too weak. "That" post was all about how to run feeds from TWO CAMERAS ON TWO SEPARATE WINDOWS, AND THIS POST MR. MUKS IS ABOUT CUTTING TWO VIDEOS IN HALF AND RUNNING THEM ON A SINGLE WINDOW !!! ... DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR, or do u want me to converse in some other language to make you understand. like hindi, or punjabi, or urdu or sindhi or i can use google translate for the sake of making myself clear.

Kindly next time if you reply to my post do something more than mere forum management. and try to understand before you post.

My set up includes two firewire cameras. I have detected them both and i can get the feed of both the cameras. Switching between the two as and when required. But as my project requires camera fusion, i need to get the feed of both at the same time. When i try to get the feed of both the cameras at the same time, the "transfer engine" gives error. All attempts to remove the error seem to go in vain. Any bright ideas. Please find attached the VI as well for further elaboration.

Do you see some similarities? Oh I do and you are getting the response on this from intaris. If not you could have just given more detials in the same thread right. Alas google doesnt translate from english to english properly..

Forum management is not that bad a job untill now i guess.

You have already done this here and here and have been told to stick to single threads many times..

two cameras.JPGThis is my effort to make Mr. Muks understand what i am trying to say. Maybe then you can understand that this was not a duplicate post but i doubt that though.

The above picture is lets say camera feed coming from two cameras being displayed on two DISPLAYS. Please Mr. Muks concentrate on the word two displays. this was the topic of my previous post.

Now i want to cut them both in half  and fuse them together. in a SINGLE video feed. Mr. Muks please concentrate on the word SINGLE DISPLAY. SINGLE DISPLAY , SINGGGGLLEEEE DISPLAY.

This is altogether a different ball game. That was a mere case of transfer engine getting full. Here i have to cater cropping and fusion. I hope you understand. But as i still have doubts so i would like to attach another picture to hope that you mite.two cameras 1.JPG

I feel you couldve continued in the same thread. Anyway I will try the following

1. Instead of cutting and fusing i will make sure the overlapping is almost nill

2. I will image stich the two images

ImageStitch.JPG

3. If the overlapping cannot be avoided then use image extract but be verycareful in ensuring you maintain the image ratio and then stich it.

As cropping and fusing on Paint is the only thing i can do at the moment that is why i asked for help from experts. To make me able to do it on LabVIEW aswell but guess thanx to you, we are busy in sticking to some Shakespearean code of writing on forum. I would've said sorry straight away if i had double posted. But rather than understanding you are quick at judging. and judging it wrong. This is completely different from what i posted a few days back. I would ve appreciated it if this forum management by you wouldve lead to some real help. but you always show up to say Double post, abbreviations, blah blah blah and never something that might help. Man i am in middle of something serious and this is a big time waste. i did double posting once in my life, i said sorry because i didnt know that it would lead to problems. Now i didnt do any thing like that. But you show up being all judgemental and degrading. I would appreciate if you can help, but if you cant help and the purpose is just to make me understand your self imposed Victorian code of posting. I would suggest that you leave it to NI moderators to judge when i stray away.
