Can I use SMD 7616 without SoftMotion ?

Hello,

I have a Parker compumotor (OEM83-62) which I could operate using the ethernet enabled SMD 7616 and stepper configuration utility software. However, I am unable to use SoftMotion to build VIs and control the stepper as I am not purchasing the SoftMotion software.
Would love to get some help, however small, on using LabVIEW to control the motor through "stepper configuration utility", without the need of SoftMotion.
