Hi

Can I use analog level trigger to start and stop acquisition of a digital signal?

I haev a signal which si connected to daq digital lines. Do I need to connect to AI channels to eb able to use analog level start and stop triggering?

Hi en99,

If you wanted to use an analogue level trigger then you would usually need to have a signal wired in.

What you could try, if you don't want to wire in a signal, is use the analogue task Start Trigger as the trigger to your digital task. Then you simply need to start the analogue task, without having any sensible signal wired, to trigger your digital task.
