I installed an earlier version of LabVIEW yesterday, LabVIEW 2022 (64bit) Windows 11. I was trying to do some things but I'm having errors so I created a really simple VI that just has a U8 numeric input and I wired it straight to a U8 output. I can't even save the VI because "LabVIEW: An input parameter is invalid. For example if the input is a path, the path might contain a character not allowed by the OS such as ? or @. I even deleted everything from the VI and still can't save it because I get the same error. What input parameter could it be referring to because I don't have any inputs because it's a completely blank vi.

Your VI is in "NI.LV.PlugIN" ?

I figured out it was something wrong with my template. I have a 43" 4k monitor and when I create a new VI the window size is about 24", which is huge, so I found a way to use a template to set the default to a more reasonable size, for me. https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/New-VI-default-window-size/td-p/3664093 But it's not working I guess. When I create a new VI from New... and select blank VI the problem went away. I couldn't save because the path for the save/save as locations was "not a path".
