Can't update controls' values

Hi guys,

I'm new in LabVIEW and I've got a VI named "design"  with controls which I need to change. For example I need to change the values of control "model parameters". I tried to do: make type def.-> open type def. and then change the values. A new control was created and even though I saved all the files, the latest values were not saved.

Hi Orit,

Right click on the control and go to the option called Data Operation. There you can choose Make current value as a default Option. It will make current value as your control's default value.

While opening the VI on next time Values will be remain same.
