Cannot debug remote application

If you have SSP, you can open a bag report request and someone from NI will escalate this.

Apologies - I'm not familiar with how to open a bag report request. Could you link a guide for doing this?

Of course. Refer to this link and click on the "Report a bug" button.

Great, thanks.

I've submitted a bug report. Request 01403837.

I will give an update here if anything changes.

I got a reply back form technical support.

This is a known bug and the software engineers are aware of it. But no estimate as to how long it would take to patch.

Does anyone know why this isn't on the known issues page? I know it's probably not the most used feature but there doesn't seem to be a workaround and some issues are very hard to debug without it.

It definitely should be on the known issues page.

I ended up reverting back to 2021 (non-SP1 version). It seems to be working on that version just fine and all my code was still compatible.

I have the exact same issue too.
I create an very simple test VI and build it with debugging enabled and connect to it I get only "Failed to connect to remote application".

I tried Labview 2021 SP1 first, Failed.
Then I upgrade to 2021 SP1 f1, failed too.
I uninstall Labview and install Labview 2021(without SP1), failed again.

All of 3 version failed.

This appears fixed in the f2 patch which is available on NIPM.
