Hi Pedro, This CLIP socket is really simple.
For now it is just for acces the pins and keep them available to FPGA VIs, the logic and data treatment will be done in LABVIEW language.
I really afraid for this, because my deadlines for this application is short!
Best Regards,
Jean

Why do you need access to the pins on the FPGA of the 7951? Unless you are making your own custom FlexRIO Adapter Module I can't think of any reason you would be interested in creating a Socketed CLIP instead of a User Defined CLIP.

Hi,
Sorry, I think may have a misunderstanding here:
Mr. Klauss asked me: You trying to develop a socketed clip for a custom FAM?
I answered: Yes, it is.
You asked me: I need to know if you are using the FlexRIO Adapter Module Development Kit?
Is the CLIP you are compiling one we provide, one they have created youself, or a CLIP that you got from a third party?
I answered: No, I not using FAM Development Kit.
The CLIP socket was writen by myself.
Resuming and answering your last question: Why do you need access to the pins on the FPGA of the 7951?
Because: We are constructing a custom FAM, but we are not using a FAM Development Kit to design and implement it. So, anyway it needs to use a Socketed CLIP.
Please, let me know if I not clear.
Thanks in advanced,
Jean
