Comsoft DF Profi II driver installation failed - A service installation section in this INF is invalid

Hi,

I am attempting to install a driver for a Comsoft DF Proff II PCI card on a Windows 7 32-bit PC.

I have installed the following

VISA Profibus driver

• DF_PROFI_II_PROFIBUS_VISA_driver_Version_1.37.5

National Instruments Data Acquisition Runtime

• NIDAQ1711f0Runtime.exe

The device shows in the Windows Device Manager as

• NI-VISA PXI Devices
  • Unknown Device

The driver shows a small yellow warning triangle, and the properties: this error:

• This device driver is not configured correctly (Code 1)
• A service installation section in this INF is invalid

I have tried

• Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver from the default windows directory.
• As per the instructions here: (https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000YFeYCAW&l=en-US) Completely uninstalling the driver, and reinstalling it from:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Comsoft GmbH\Profibus VISA Driver\INF)

Can anyone suggest anything I might try?
