Connect LabVIEW to Simatic PLC Simulator

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to simulate a process on Siemens PLC Simulator (PLCSim) and LabVIEW and I used NI OPC Server,created the Tags then created the bound variables and when i opened the Distributed System Manager, I couldn't see the tags I created. So I have to Questions:
1- Is it Possible to work with the Simulator Like I do in WinCC as I want to replace my WinCC SCADA with LAbVIEW?
2- if it is possible and not the reason for this Problem, what reason may cause it ?

Here are a few resources that I would suggest for connecting an actual PLC to LabVIEW. I haven't used PLCSim, so I can't speak to specific steps for working with that product, however these may be useful:
