Connect Reference to SubVI

I want a subvi with no outputs and two inputs: numeric indicator reference and numeric value.

The vi would programatically modify the properties of the numeric indicator depending on the value.

I also want a numeric indicator to which the reference refers, for developing the VI without connecting it to an external vi.

What is your question? Are you having problems creating a subVI with two connectors?
