Connection Problem with cDAQ

hi everybody,

i have some problems with cDAQ9178.

First time i have connected it using USB it has worked good.

Then i have disconnected, and when i have tried to reconnect, pc hasn't communicated with it anymore.

Someone has had the same problem?!?!?!

Thanks

Giovanni,

did you try anoter USB port?

Reboot of the system?

What happens in NI MAX if you plug in the cDAQ?

You do have power connected to the cDAQ? DO the LEDs indicate that the cDAQ is functional/busy?

Have you tried a different USB cable?

I've had the same problem with a card reader (SD, compact flash and so on).

It was the USB hub on the motherboard that had hung.

Shutting down the computer and unplugging it for a coupld of minutes reset it. Just restarting or shutting down the computer leaves enough voltage to keep it alive an locked.

NI has an issue with USB3.0 controllers.

Try one of the USB2 ports. Also, if you'r using a hub, try to disconnect it.

Make sure the NI Device Loader service is running:
