Controls ( Graphs atleast) seem to update very slowly when placed on a tab.

I have observed very clearly that controls ( graphs atleast update much slower when placed on a tab than when not. It doesn't matter how optimized the code is as long you must have to use property nodes so this is a general question: Why is this so and what is the remedy other than not placing the control on a tab?

I have never seen that behavior happen.  Perhaps it is something else about the code that causes the slowdown.  But that is impossible to comment on without seeing any code.

Can you attach a VI that demonstrates this behavior?

You are right. Nothing to do with the tab control. Ultimately, 'Defer panel updates' and a few optimizations to free up more resources worked.
